Hey folks! It's been a while, I know. I stopped using LJ for a long time. I became a mommy, and I grew up. I have to admit, reading through my old entries, I'm kind of embarassed at how immature and ignorant I used to be, but I am a completely different person, and I can confidently say that I'm proud of who I've become.

Just to fill you in on all that's happened in the past year or so during my absence:

- James and I are still together, and it's been over four years for us. We were engaged as of December 24, 2006, and our wedding is set to take place sometime in the fall of 2008.

- The very last time that I updated, it was to announce the birth of our daughter, Summer Ann Nelson. Well, that little miracle just so happens to be a year and one month old now! She's grown so fast right before my eyes, and I cannot begin to describe how much I love that little girl. Being a mother has been an absolute dream, and I couldn't ask for more.

- My family and I currently reside in a 3 bedroom home that we're renting in Tolleson, and will be living there for a few more months until our new 4 bedroom home is built in Avondale. I cannot express to you how thrilled I am that we will finally have a place to call "ours".

- I am happily employed at Bank of America, where I've been working for the past eleven months.

Life is wonderful.

I've also returned to Livejournal under a new username (la_bella_vida, for those of you who would like to add me).

Hey everybody!! I just wanted to make an update that I finally had my baby on November 11th! She is so gorgeous and perfect. We named her Summer Ann, she was born at 6 lbs. 3 ounces and is the most beautiful baby I've ever seen. I have pictures of her all over myspace, so go check 'em out!
